How are we doing this?
The Ryff Back: We believe in mutuality, or taking turns, and one important way we do this through our unique “call and response” comment section. As we scroll through the platform and encounter content that engages us, we first introduce ourselves to the Ryffer who posted it. This all happens via the Ryff Back. We think of it like a handshake or head nod, followed by a cup of coffee. We are sussing each other out. We are building trust. We are connecting on a human level before we amplify each other’s positions or opinions or perspectives.
The Self-Moderation System: RYFFC’s distinctive self-moderation system allows us to modify the volume of controversial or triggering content that we want to see at any given time. We have three levels that posts fall into: G, M, and BE.
Free Speech
A true fuctioning democracy …. RYYFC is a free speech oriented App. Here at RYFFC we encourage free speech but safely. How do we do that?

The Ryff is a short “hot take” that anchors your posts on RYFFC, whether that be through our Links feature or Citizen Reporter Feature. By design, the Ryff is limited to 88 characters. You can share your thoughts with others.

Learn
A RYFF Back is a “comment” so you can communicate and learn through others. We are all about taking turns here at RYFFC, and we especially do this through our unique call and response comment section. Ryff Backs are also limited to 88 characters. Be smart with your words because you can only Ryff once until the original Ryffer responds, and vice versa.
